GEN2GEN: "Working in an Intergenerational World - A Creative Community Endeavor

For Professional Young Performers, Ages 15-18 + Parents

WHEN: Thursday, April 25 @ 9:30am

WHERE: IATSE Local 80 Sound Stage 2025 W Olive Ave. Burbank, CA

COST: Free!

PARKING: Available on the street or for an $8 fee at the Saint Joseph's Medical Center. *No parking in the Local 80 Lot.

Event Description

 A few times a year, The Actors Fund's Career Center offers workshops at our Burbank Office for our adult clients, which we call "Valley Days." The Spring workshop will be open to Looking Ahead members ages 15-18 and their parents! "Gen2Gen: Working in an Intergenerational World - A creative Community Endeavor" workshop will have guest speaker, Mark Strunin who will offer a fun and interactive session offering support and insight on how to navigate an intergenerational working environment. All entertainment professionals ages 15+ are invited to attend.

About Speaker

Mark Strunin will facilitate this fun and interactive Valley Days session. Mark offers support in strategic planning and learning programs that contribute to organizational effectiveness. He recently worked with Young Storytellers Foundation, a creative arts nonprofit that pairs actors as volunteer mentors to fifth graders who script original stories for performances in schools.
